Property Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking a Property Associate to provide advanced administrative and operational support to a property management team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of a Class A property and supporting multiple stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and internal teams.

This position is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and documents with strong attention to grammar, formatting, and professionalism
  • Serve as a key point of contact for tenants, vendors, and visitors, maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism
  • Respond to tenant and vendor requests in a timely and effective manner
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations or solutions
  • Exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions in routine situations
  • Perform basic financial and business-related calculations
  • Process and enter invoices into accounting systems
  • Manage and maintain work order systems
  • Prepare and track service contracts for building operations
  • Track Certificates of Insurance and ensure compliance requirements are met
  • Assist with monthly reporting, budgeting, and financial tracking
  • Partner with property leadership to maintain a Class A building standard
  • Support overall property operations and assist with process improvements
  • Assist with training team members as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of professional experience in property management, administrative support, or related field
  • Experience with budgeting, financial tracking, or P&L exposure preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to type a minimum of 60 WPM with accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Customer service-oriented with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Team player with the ability to work independently

Work Environment

  • Business professional office setting
  • Primarily sedentary/light physical activity

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work onsite Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Background check required
